Equine Drug Testing

The Equine Drug Testing program is active at 7 tracks throughout the state of New York, running a total of around 70,000 samples per year for a wide range of drugs. The program maintains a research program for developing and validating assay procedures to keep up with the demand for new and better means of detecting drugs in race horses.
