The Avian Disease
Laboratory provides diagnostic services for the New York State
poultry industry and serves as a reference laboratory for the
diagnosis of diseases such as chicken infectious anemia, Marek's
disease, and infectious bronchitis. The lab assists in meeting
the requirements for compliance with the National Poultry Improvement
Plan and or export requirements.
The Avian Disease Lab and main Animal Health Diagnostic Center
combine to provide testing for avian bacteriology, virology,
serology, pathology and toxicology for the avian industry in
New York State. |
